The furnace farmer Gerd Zepp,
Bell in the Eifel the small Rhineland-Palatinian place Bell in the Eifel was long centuries a Zent­rum of the building of baking-ovens.  Bell has a tuff and tufa, which is particularly suitable as baking-oven stone.  It can be heated up again and again, without changing or to take damage.  It possesses the characteristic to take up warmth fast to store and to deliver these slowly and softly again to the baking commodity.  Those are the best conditions, which one be­noetigt for baking good bread.  The company Zepp operates the traditional building of baking-ovens since 1855.  Into the 60's it had its own quarry and broke there the tuff and tufa.  An­schliessend became the broken stones still in the quarry stove plates, ring gemstones and Gewoelbesteinen with the hand by right gehauen.  Gerd Zepp was suitable its knowledge as a baking-oven farmer already as a young person with the father on.  With a theory as bricklayers, when fitters and as a welder has he his knowledge perfected.  It locked its training with the mastership examination as a baking-oven farmer.  In the Exempla 2006 Gerd Zepp shows a Pizzabackofen, which was built from traditional tuff and tufa of the Eifel.
